If you have such fingerprint issue, I recommend you to flash the first ROM release (V1.0_20171201) in firmware upgrade mode, then check your fingerprint scanner, and if everything is alright, you can flash this latest basic edition, also in firmware upgrade mode.

I have installed a custom launcher 'lawnchair'. But unable to uninstall this again. How an where can i change the launcher? Thanks

I installed that launcher but then could uninstall it without any issue. You can't change the default launcher without uninstalling your active launcher. You can try to install a third launcher, then uninstall the lawnchair launcher.

\n\nHello all. I hope someone can help me. It was suggested to me from Umidigi on Facebook to post here as I am a new member and am unable yet to make new topics. My rom version is V1.0_20171227. I seem to be having diffulties with this release on being able to receive calls. My phone does ring so I can hear an incoming call but there is no hope in answering in time before it goes to voicemail. I called my cell from my home phone and I only heard one ring before I got my voicemail.
I even tried to enter the commands according to my carrier to change the amount of rings to 6 rings and it looked like it went through on the phone but still the same issue. I have yet to find anywhere under call settings on the phone to correct this.
Could someone please help me?
Also found another issue. I have my micro sd card in the phone. The phone recognizes it and I am able to transfer files from internal to the external card but it constantly asks me if I want to change the default saving option to the sd card. I keep saying ok, then change it to the sd card again and again but I keep getting the pop up message to change the default storage from internal to external. Any thoughts?
I saw that there were other threads that have a firmware V1.0_20180201 but when I check for updates it says that I have the latest version. Could I upgrade and is it wise to snd can I? Does it come with further glitches or are people for the most part happy with that version?

Hi,
You should ask the other party if he/she hears more ringings or a busy signal after the first ringing. Overall it seems to be a network issue to me, not related to your phone.
About your SD card problem, it should happen only if you don't reboot/power off your phone properly or sometimes the SD card loses its connection. Please check the connector pins of you SD card, maybe they need to be cleaned.
Currently you can upgrade to V1.0_20180201 with SP Flash Too only.

When I called from my home phone I only heard one ring before going to voicemail as I had mentioned earlier. Also I have rebooted my phone and still the same issue with the sd card. Also checked the pins

It seems to be a changed setting in your network. Did you try to use an other SIM card?

I got it resolved. I called my carrier and used a different mmi code and it fixed it
