Yes i agree it is a shame adding NFC is not so costly and for $299 it will not really be special option , because there are phones under the $175 in china for sale that have NFC .
If i am right NFC is not common used in china so not seen as priority, i can say if they had added NFC to the standard S2 Pro the sales will more then double from outside china
I showed the s2 pro to some friends the first thing they asked does it have NFC, Ok beutifull phone goods specs but no NFC so i never will buy it was the answer.
I can live without NFC because i am ill and almost always at home but in my country it is a must have and all new phones sold in europe has all NFC otherwhise the one that will not have it will simply not be sold
most people will need NFC every day in europe that means buying a Umidogi phone will  not be a option for them, so they are excluding themselves from big sales and succes on the european market
i don`t really need it so i will buy the S2 pro
I hope a manufacturer will be make beautifull full 2 side cases for the S2 and S2Pro like they are making them for iphone and samsung

I agree with what you say..
Luckily for me, in Thailand I'll not need NFC in the rural area I live in.. We only just received Internet via cable last week!
I love the S2 Pro spec and colour in red, although if the Mercury Silver is launched at the same time for not too much more money, I'll probably buy it and have NFC in case I ever can use it in Bangkok or other big cities!
I agree, could be more of a problem for Umidigi in Europe, where NFC is highly used..

i noticed something trange in the last S2 video you are showing the S2 in black and has the same model as whe are used to see.
Afther that you are showing a red version and it has a totally different dual camera layout and placement
Has the model of the S2 pro( placing of the camera) and looks changed??

I have also looked at the two versions - red and black - and they look identically on the back side, with the same dual camera. There is a picture with the red version and some black object at its left side, but I think that is a skin or a case, not the black version.

If you search a little, you will notice that the model which appears in that sequence of the movie is rather the Umidigi Crystal. It would not make sense to produce two different bodies for S2 and S2 Pro, it would only create supplementary expenses and no benefit. In the other promotional clips this aspect does not show any more. Maybe someone made a mistake when they produced the clip.
