So you can use dual band wifi and your Z2 pro can also do ac wifi but not at the speed per spec.

Can you try it with another device under the identical condition?  To get the technically maximum you need everything perfect and that can be challenging.  Therefore if you can find a device that delivers the maximum speed by ac wifi and test it in parallel with the z2 pro then your claim is undeniable/credible.  

I tested mine with a HP Spectre 360 laptop that cost 4 times the z2 pro.  In Windows 10 the same 5Ghz band at the same distance from the router as Z2 pro the speed is averaging 585Mbps but can momentarily peak above 700Mbps.  The link speed in z2 pro appears static at only 433Mbps.  I have a s2 pro that has no ac capability.  Under the identical condition its links speed to the same 5Ghz band is 135Mbps.

Personally I am not optimistic of getting the 100% of the specification from a top end iphone, let alone one newly release UMI z2 pro that cost just 1/4 of it.  

The latest iphone claims its glass back is as hard as sapphire but proved wrong and scratchy when tested recently in Youtube against known the sapphire surface.  The Z2 pro's ceramic back of the ceramic version is also claimed by UMI that only diamond and sapphire can scratch it but I am a fool to believe it can withstand the same test.  If it is made of ceramic and is harder than normal then it is worth the extra $40 I paid for it.

I´m fully aware that we arent comparing High-End Antennas used in Laptops to the Z2 Pro as they can use MIMO, what the Z2 Pro doesnt have.
The Tests were compared with my more than 2 Year old Elephone P9000 and my Samsung Serie 5 Ultra 530U3C that doesnt support AC WLAN but does come with a good Antenna for B/G/N Standards.
With the P9000 the fastest 5Ghz Speed is 135Mbps Uplink and 150Mbps Downlink, so i aim for more than that with the Z2 Pro as the P900 doesnt have AC, just Support for Dual Band in general. With the Laptop its at 162Mbps Uplink and 300Mbps Downlink.
The Accesspoint casts at a Maximum of 450Mbps in the 2,4Ghz Band and 1300Mbps in the 5Ghz Band, supposed you have the necessary MIMO Antennas in your Device.
The Z2 Pro is in the 2,4Ghz Band at the same Time with an 56-72Mbps Downlink and an 1Mbps (!) Uplink.
So in Summary, i can say that the Wifi Module isnt working correctly at all.

Not a IT guy or has anything to do with wifi technology but I think  you need to read

The ac wifi peaks at 433Mbps per antenna so if your router or device, like laptop of phone, has a single antenna you will never see more than 433Mbps speed in your system.

Where do you get your upload and download wifi speed? by App with help from a PC?  The link speed I refer to is settings/Network & Internet/wifi/"your netwrokname"/Link speed from z2 pro.

Yeah i know that, thats why i said i dont compare non MIMO Devices with MIMO.
Nevertheless it should get up to 300-400 in both Frequency Ranges. The 200Mbps in 5Ghz are ok for me, but not the 72/1 in the 2,4Ghz at the moment while sitting directly under the AP (see Speeds from the other older Devices without AC Support).
I get the Stats from my Controller for my APs and verify them with the Stats in the Z2 Pro.

And if UMIadmin, bencebacsi, or MarcinP are reading this, could you please let us know if this is a hardware error or not, when it will be fixed, or if we rather should just return the phone to Gearbest?

Thanks, I'll do that. I still find it strange that, at least according to the *#*#33#*#* debug menu, the 1st microphone does seem to work on 20180823 and 20180830, but not on 20180914 and 20180920. It really seems that the updates somehow cause the the microphone to stop working.

Thanks, but it still doesn't work. The microphone seems to only work on 20180823/20180830 (at least in the single test debug menu). In all the later updates it stops working. Phone is going back for replacement.
