Yes I have set it to 4G. My sim card supports 4G, it works 100% flawless on other phones (iphone, LG and Samsung).

I suggest you too to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool. If that doesn't help, then your device needs to be repaired.

Normally it works without any issues.

Maybe a third party background app conflicts on your phone but we can't know that without knowing your specific setup.
You can try to format your memory card as portable storage if you currently use it as internal or process a factory data reset, then install and test the eBay app first.
