Im gonna spin up a Windows 7 virtual machine I reckon it might be Windows

Personally I tested this tool on Windows 10 64-bit PCs only but in your case your issue might be driver related, so you may be successful on a Windows 7 machine by chance.

OK so an update, Windows 10 is the issue the drivers dont allow the process. I went to Windows 7 and used SN writer and rewrote the IMEIs and now trying the Beanpod so fingers crossed but for all those with failures and it now working use Windows 7.

Ok so heres how i got it to work and now sent my thh file

Used Windows 7
Installed MTK_Driver_Auto_Installer_SP_Drivers_20160804
Remove you pin code so the phone starts with no security (This had me stuck for ages and I had the 'Wait Soter' continuously until removed the pin
Worked within seconds

Now sent my thh file to Ben and hope to have my fingerprint working soon!!

\n\nHey @bencebacsi I am having problem with activation of fingerprint sensor. I followed the given procedures to the word. my phone gets to meta mode and after few seconds it says 'Active Device Failed'. I have been trying this for about an hour but no luck.  Since I was able to generate the request without any problem its cant be the drivers. Any tips would be appreciated.
[UPDATE] I checked the log and found the following:
[2018/2/12 16:43:21] microtrust_log: dll version is v1.3.0, test_phone_file_exist() line number:407 phone_filepath folder exist but the file not exist;    return value=2

I dont know what it means. When i delete ActiveResponse.txt it gives me seperate error(.../ActiveResponse.txt not exist) so which proves that the above error is not due to ActiveResponse.txt file.

Hi,
Did you move/copy the ActiveResponse.txt file to the C:\microtrust_metalog folder before running the activation tool?
Also, if you haven't done it yet, first repair the nvram of your phone with SN Writer and once boot into Andorid and power off your phone normally before running the activation tool.

Actually I already did that weeks ago. my log says :

I can't reproduce your issue, not even with your file. Try to run the tool as administrator and check the attributes of the ActiveResponse.txt file - it should not be read-only, hidden or compressed.
