UMI eMAX Touch screen issue + Ghost touch issue

Well I've just sent back my Emax after having it a month and no clear solution or explanation for this problem.. a TERRIBLE shame because Emax was my favourite phone ever! But this bug is just terrible when it strikes, makes the phone unreliable in important moments.

I sent my phone back to the shop i got it from, which is efox. They told me, they fixed it, which i hope is true. Unfortunately they don't want to exchange the phone due to their policy. whatever, if it works as is, then i can at least sell it to a friend of mine, who is looking for a phone...
they will send me a video of it working corretly tomorrow, let's hope it's true, that it works.

The video will not help you, if the ghost touches occure only sporadically.

I didn't get a video yet, but they say it is fixed... then again i haven't heard from them in 2 days.

I also had ghost touches in the right center of the screen. But after changing the original screen protector with this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SWIDO-Diamond-Clear-Screen-Protector-2-x/dp/B0107OZBI4  the issue was gone.

Had the ghost touch issue for a long time, usually it can be resolved by locking and unlocking the phone.

Bought a tempered screen protector to replace the original and the ghost touch got worse, out of frustration i slightly bend the phone both ways and the issue totally disappear for about one week.

And now its back again, i hope the new 5.1 OS resolves this or at least allow a option to create dead zone in the touch screen.

So, I got the phone back from china and the problem is fixed. They didn't tell me, what they did, but the got rid of it. Now I just wait for Lollipop.

That touch screen problem is caused by an internal insulation issue. Basically a bad work at the assembling. So that's a hardware issue what can be repaired easily but surely not by a software upgrade. Of course, all phones running the same firmware version would be involved if that were caused by bad programming, not just a few of them.
I wrote about this  here earlier but I deleted all of my earlier posts (more than 400 replies) two weeks ago. Sorry.

Hi All, Just an update I too have experienced this issue from time to time however give the screen a wipe ideally with some anti-static cleaner/cloth, however i find even just using my t-shirt or standard cloth a quick wipe eliminates the touch screen issue.....when it returns repeat.... hope this helps
