Do you mean your issue appears only when you connect your phone to USB?

No issue is not related to USB connection.it is a kind of random one. Comes on its own suddenly even when the phone is not in use and goes on its own as described above

After upgrading from V3.01_20161209 Android 7.0 - FOTA, these are  my first impressions:
.) GPS is really unusable  in this version, navigation quite impossibile : it was much better in V3.01_20161209
.) WiFi connection seems better (more signal level) than in V3.01_20161209
.) No Battery consumption improvements noted so far , but I'll wait some more day of usage

Really thinking about reverting to V3.01_20161209 .
Is any upgrade planned in the immediate future ?

Upgrade after one day of use. .) Battery saving seems to be improved. During the night, the battery discharge rate chart was much flater than the previous one (i.e., a lower consumption than the previous one of the system).
.) A further navigation test showed better GPS behavior than the first one


... I'm still testing it.

I'm afraid the reason of your issue cannot be discovered remotely. It's most probably hardware related - damaged flash ROM chip or broken motherboard for example. I suggest you to request your seller to make your phone repaired or replaced.

Android 8.0 is still in beta state, so this question is very too early to ask. UMi Plus will probably not receive further Android upgrades.
