You can expect later updates with at least security patch updates but I hope you don't think that, it's not safe anymore anymore those billions of android smartphones in the world, that don't receive system updates anymore.

Hi,
Have you updated your phone via OTA or flashed with SP Flash Tool? If you have such issues, flashing is recommended.
You also can try to remove the SIM from your phone and once boot it up without SIM, then replace your SIM and try again. Always remove/replace the SIM only when your phone is powered off.
Also try to forget your Wi-Fi router and connect to it again.

Hi

I updated via the wireless update. And I have tried the switch on/off of the router but all these issues started after the update.

Please advice what do I now and I dont what to information on my phone.

Please flash this ROM with SP Flash Tool to get a clean installation of this version. I can't analyze your specific system remotely, so that's better to start from the basics. The clean stock software does not have such a bug.

I can only get the 2 first roms to work. If I use any newer update I get apps crashing on the setup wizard and can't use the phone.

Then the flash chip of your phone might be defective (bad blocks) causing access errors. You can try to format your phone with SP Flash Tool without the bootloader, then flash this ROM again.
If you do so, then you have to re-set your IMEI numbers with the SN Writer Tool

It's not easy to check in Europe since 3G is already barely used here. You have 2G connection in far rural places or 4G in every other place.
Can you compare your Plus E with other smartphones at the same place?

Other smartphones work without hovering 3G in the same place with the same SIM card.
The problem appeared in Umi Plus E on one of the latest firmware. Previously worked without problems. You can force 3G and test.

I also have problems with my 4G connection.
It disconnects more often.
For example before I could stream 720P to my phone, now I don't even botter.
It seems a little better if I disable 1 sim card. Then I can at least stream music from TuneIn if I'm lucky.
Otherwise I switch off the other simcard, and let it remake connection.
If you guys can fix this issue and make the internet connection stable and fast again, it would be really apreciated
