To add on to all my previous problems i noticed that every few minutes it asks me which sd i want to use as my default write disk even though ive selected it a million times. And there is a white line behind the screen, like someone passed their finger on it or something. I think my phone has every single problem people are reporting. Thanks a lot umi

\n\nNew issue. Sometimes, when the Smartphone is unlocked and I am using it, I press the home button, the thelephone vibrates after 1 or 2 senconds, but the home screen does not come into view. It happens at least one or two times every two days more or less. It happens in several screens (photos, Chrome...).

It would be nice that UMI provide us with some default email application like other manufacturers do as well.
There are plenty pros for that.

I don't agree with number 2, since all of my phones had the key layout like the umi z. But I would support the possibility to allow the left key to be either settings or multitasking, deppending of the needs of the user.

Just a personal experience update:
Camera still sucks. Laser focus is a total mess
Battery still sucks.
Processor profile still need tweaks. At idle with the screen locked while playing music, sometimes the music stops for a few momments.
Screen, despite the flicker at very very low brightness, is ok.
Wifi, 3g, 4g and bluetooth is ok
Processor
Gps is ok

Figerprint is kinda ok.

Completely agree. These are my tweaks too.

\n\nAlmost forgot:
1. Since it can not be known whether we used it or not it would be very useful to add "_HDR" suffix to the picture name whenever we are taking a picture with HDR option turned on.
2. Once we choose a HDR option it should be saved for the next time and not switched off by default. It is also very difficult to distinguish it just by the color whether it is switched off or on. It should be given as "HDR ON" or "HDR OFF"
3. Photo modes are difficult to choose. The letters are very small and words are very close to the shoot button. I have very often mistakenly taken a shot instead of choosing the right option. Sometimes I need to tap two or even three times to choose the desired mode. Touch screen was not much responsive in this situation.

To repeat once again:

Left physical button does not functionally equals to the left "Recent running task" virtual button and it should be.

Let the left physical button activates "Recent running task" option.

Pocket detection seems to be either largely ineffective, or non existent... We'll for me at least. I fish the phone out of my pocket and it's usually found it's way into the camera app, and taken a whole bunch of crystal clear super in-focus amazing DSLR quality photos (of the inside of my pocket). Now I'm prepared to post some of these photos for the scrutiny of this forum, but first we need someone to post a photo of the inside of their lens cap so we have a benchmark. My phone is set to unlock with finger print which works all the time 60 percent of the time... My trousers are neither hipster tight or HipHop loose. Also i seem VB to have a fair bit of inaccuracy with the touch screen, with and without wine/beer. The phone also asks me to set up the SD card very frequently... And writing on this forum using an umi z is terrifying as a result of inaccurate touch and a mishmash of English and Chinese text buttons. Fix some of these things and i might be less detracting towards umi...
