I can try that later, i will use Rome 3.03 SP Flash Tool Version with SP Flash Tool v1548 as advised in  http://community.umidigi.com/thread-2081-1-1.html

After 1 week of use with the new firmware, an improvement is seen in the touch screen, but continues to consume enough battery, I also notice some sporadic restarts, but what bothers is great instability of connection to the cellular network when no signal weak or away from the antennas, which with another phone brand Doogee X5 PRO next with the same sim has stable signal and operates without much hopping networks as happens in the UMI Rome, so please report these failures would be of great importance that look as they did with the touch screen.

I tried everything... different ROM version, different SP Flash Tool version, flashing 3.03 with  SP ...

Try installing the app FasterGPS, indicating their continent and country, improvements have if I had the same problems and solve it that way

The only real improvement in this new version is the touch screen, the rest seems to be equal, at least in my opinion.

such cuszom ROMs are just some variants of basic ROM, so they can't resolve any hardware related issues. If you have problems with your touch screen, you should cintact your reseller to repair or replace your device.

I've upgaded my umi rome to 3.05, and GPS works fine, so it is not the problem of firmware
