Flash the full ROM  20180829 and update with the 2 otas, all must work fine.  To me it worked too.

My camera app has completely disappeared again, but for some reason, third-party camera apps now work. If anyone else wants to try I recommend downloading Lenovo's camera app apk from apk mirror.

As I commented before....my camera focus issue is "better" with the latest ROM.  It is still not as good as it was in the 0726 release of the ROM.  My distant pictures are "almost" in focus now (the close up photos do seem to focus O.K.)  I am not having any of the camera app disappearing issues described by other folks here.  The camera still is a bit "wonky" but good enough that I don't want to revert to the 0726 version of the ROM.  The other really annoying issue is that my default ringtone seems to keep getting reset back to the stock default.  I will change it to a custom ring tone (created by the RingDroid app) and it will be fine for a couple of days, then it will just randomly switch back to the stock ROM default....just annoying.

copy the ringtone and any other sound you want to internal memory. that should fix the problem

camera is till out of focus for distant pictures.. but never mind, i just copy some blobs from 2607 version to latest stock and now is just fine !  ;-)

Well finally i get full up of the umidigi phones, support and so on.
This phone cost me about 200€ and i bought it via Aliexpress. I explained them(Ali customer service) about the camera issue, flashlight and rotation and i send them the conversation with offcial umidigi technical support telling that is necessary to send back phone  (this is for all those people are having the same error: app gone and fail to open camera)
Please see the video i did showing that 4 cameras are a real fake selling marketing argument.
