i've did some research myself on the topic (just google for com.adups.fota) and it seems the security issue/concern is still valid even for today. also CheckPoint's doesn't treat this app as virus but as spyware.

You shared a more than 3 years old article that also refers to the issue happened in 2016 related to Blu devices, which is an American brand anyway. UMIDIGI smartphones have never been affected. Please stop your baseless accusations.

Yesterday I received UMIDIGI Bison and it turned out that the microphone does not work in network connections and through the application, the other microphones, i.e. sound recording via the recording recorder, is OK. Please help.
