Hi bencebacsi,
Can you confirm that MarcinP is no longer a moderator? I've checked his profile, and it's been more than a month since he was last active in any thread.

I'm asking this because users of the Umidigi One (Pro) forum threads have been left without any support regarding their queries and issues, the most important one being the poor video recording function.

Of course, there are several other issues that should be addressed as well, so I'd appreciate any response as to what can be done.

Thank you for you work and dedication so far.

No, they haven't stopped development for this device.
I've just received an update (UMIDIGI_ONE_V2.0_20180815_20190318-1043), and the description said 'Minor bug fixes'.
The video recording function seems to be a bit better now, but still not at the level I get with the Footej camera app. I haven't noticed anything else bug-wise.

However, one thing they messed up is the ability to use Face ID (face unlock) when the phone is locked by admin (for example, when I use Nova Launcher's Double Tap to Lock function).
If I lock the phone using this function, Face unlock doesn't work and I'm now required to enter my pattern/password. If I've locked the phone using the Power button, I can use Face unlock to unlock.

I'm very sorry they messed this up, as I was using Face unlock almost as much as the fingerprint sensor.

I got this UMIDIGI_ONE_V2.0_20180815_20190318-1043 update already.

For me, camera performance is still not fixed for rear camera. choppy previews in photo mode and video for rear camera. Which is weird since front selfie camera has NO problem with choppy video/photo.

Security patch still on JUNE 2018!! Why? I don't know. Some time i feel UMIDigi developers don't know what they are doing.

What bug they fixed, only god knows since UMIdigi has a bad habit of not listing the updates

for me updating the security patch is important as well. i'm no expert but doesn't that mean our phones are vulnerable to attacks if the security patch is outdated

No, that's not possible without a third party app and root access.

Hi, today happen once again ,my phone change imei itself 2x, it happened when i wear my phone in pocket of pants. when i pull out phone from pocket, can not screen on, phone is freeze and only fix is do hard reset long press power button. after reboot both imei is changed. it only happen when phone is in pocket of jeans, i think touches of pants with fingerprint causing this. phone go to freeze or somethimes when i pull out phone from jems i find out the phone was reboot to strange screen with "android system not find" or some like that,i dont remeber. i fix imei with sn write tool. but it happen to me like 5 times. Yes, i have magisk root official but only apps i have is titanium backup and lucky patcher and this apps dont do it.
