I had the same problem a while ago and it seems there is a defect in the voltaje regulator. Probably your phone gets warm on the top part while charging. It might occur due to a defective AC charger.


Finally I sent the phone and got a refund. It took me 2 months to get refund.

Hi all. Excuse my English.
It was until yesterday a content owner of a UMIDIGI ONE PRO. For 2 days the phone worked perfectly. Since I configured the WIFI and downloaded update by "FOTA" the phone does not turn on or do anything.
It was restarted about 5 times, it asked for the password, it entered it and it restarted itself.
I followed the tutorial step by step and nothing. It only detects "Mediatek USB Port" if you keep pressing the power button of the phone. If not, it is detected as an "unknown device".
Any solution?
I'm trying to upload screenshots but I get an error "Server (IO) Error"

This problem appeared more than once, among the owners of this phone. Replacement or repair of the motherboard is necessary. Judging by the fact that it was possible to find out in the service center, with the diagnosis - a problem in the power controller/voltaje regulator - dies.
Symptoms:
When charging, the red light is on constantly. Charging time any - does not change color. No reaction to the power button and long charge. For a long press of the power button - there is no reaction.
Result:
The reason for the failure of the motherboard is not precisely determined, it probably comes from the fast charging that comes with the phone. The phone is very warm during charging. After repair of the device, on the recommendation of the service center (not official Umi, it is not in our country) switched to standard (not fast) charging 5V 1-2A

Hello, This is great news for people who still own this model. Just switch to a regular 5V-2A adapter. Maybe 5V 1A is a bit low.
