No. It's the one I'm using right now. But I didn't have wifi dropouts with the former version either.
Only some issues regarding the alarm and Google Play Music, but nothing I can't live with.

Dear Users,

In the 20170117 update the developers forgot to change the build number from V1.0_20171227 to V1.0_20180117 (I corrected it in the Basic Edition) but you still can check the kernel date for the correct version.
I can ensure you, this latest update does not cause any new WiFi or bluetooth issue. If you have such problems, you can try to perform the followings until success.
1. Try to connect to different WiFi routers in different places.
2. ''Forget'' your saved WiFi connections and reconnect them.
3. Erase the cached data in Settings --> Storage (Internal shared storage), then reboot your phone.
4. Perform a factory data reset in Settings --> Backup & reset.
5. Flash the V1.0_20180117 Official or Basic Edition ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode.
Specific hardware or compatibility issues are still possible and beyond our control.

Please try to follow the steps I listed if you really want to resolve your problem. I'm not just testing but also use an S2 Pro as a daily driver currently and this latest update caused no issue related to the WiFi connectivity.
