- Download from www.iroot.com and install iRoot PC programme iRoot_1.8.6.19461_cid1005_7337ba1e.exe to PC
- Enable USB debuggng on eMax Mini phone side
-'Connect the phone and PC by USB cable, let Windows (7, in my case) automatcally install drivers
- Start iRoot from PC
- iRoot will fail to connect, you must Allow its USB debugging session on the phone side
- iRoot will find that phone was not Rooted
- Start Root from iRoot on the PC
- Grant requested permissions on the phone side
- iRoot will install and phone will reboot into TWRP (Teamwin Recovery)
- In TWRP, grant it to make requested changes into bootloader
- Phone will reboot and iRoot will show that Root was successfully applied
- You can install Root Checker from Play Store to double-check that root access is now granted
- iRoot installs KingRoot (in lieu of SuperSU)
- It also installs OneCleaner and its acompanied OneTouch Cleaner (for now, I left them)
- It also installs a bloatware app all in Chineese (kind of App Store), I have uninstalled that one
- I have also uninstalled its Romaster Connection upon finishing the rooting
- Upon rooting, I was able to succesfully installl AdAway from XDA Forum
- For now, I didn't go into replacing the installed KingRoot with SuperSU (instructions can be found on XDA)
- I also didn"t go into reinstalling the TWRP by use of Flashify app as from Google Play, neither to the further installation of CM12.1 via TWRP (see two other threads from this UMI Community eMax Mini Forum)
- I have rebooted the phone couple of times, it all seems working fine (not bricked)
- I didn't try booting into Recovery (some claim that pressing Vol+ button for several seconds or so bricks the phone, I don't want to risk...)
