My one is charging fast with original charger and cable.
--> some chargers are bad or the cables.
What is Aida64 telling you about the charging current
Sometimes it helps to turn off the UMI completly take out the SIMs and wait 10 minutes ---> insert SIMs and turn on again.

from 25% to full 1,5h, that is ok, please think about that the battery is 3800mAh...
So it is charging up to 80% with nearly 2000mA(2A), that is very good and fast, half battery full within 1h.
then between 80-90% it is switching down to 1000mA and from 90 to 100% to 500mA...
that takes then long...
that is to protect the battery...
best for battery is also to work with it between 30 and 80%... you see the delta is 50% and that is filled up within 1h...
for sure if you're using the phone during charging it will take longer to charge...

And if you're using the phone in between it takes also really long to charge.. for sure.

--> check with a APP, f.e. Aida64, how much current the charging has.
you can also check if the CPUs are idle or not. with charger on it should have also one CPU running on low speed.
Try also a factory reset

Sounds interesting.
Will try that.

One time i had the issue, that it was also charging only with 500mA, --> for sure 6-8h...
But that was resolved by unplugging the charger from wall outlet and waited also 5 minutes.. good time to also turn of the phone.

But that  ...

May I draw a conclusion: it depends on the weather forecast and the mood of the charger

Well, my battery has as voltage 3916mV (is that normal?)
And when I charge my Umi Z, it's charging with 1720mA, is that what it should be?

My reading is the same - 1720mA which is about the maximum limit of the charger up to 9V.This reading has been done at about 70% of the battery charged.
The question is if the charger uses 12V charging voltage at all?

my battery with 40% load has 3,745V and is discharging in idle mode with 158mA with screen on and AIDA64 running.
When charging with original charger, 1850mA and when it is fully charge, it reaches also 4,1V(something around that)...
So it is normal.

check your idle mode current --> should be low like my one, please keep in mind, that i have 2 active SIMs and a active SD-card...
for me it is fine.

charging is done within 1,5 to 2h... depends how much I touch the phone and doing some stuff during charging.

Edited by Medard22 at 2017-4-6 14:58 \n\nWhen I checked the battery stats in service menu and in AIDA64 the charging current is different and much lower in AIDA. I´m not sure it provides the correct values.

Also found this presentation of Pump Express presentation. It might provide some insights about how the fast charging works. It seems that the fast charging is disabled when it is deemed "not safe".

Hi, in the TEST menu it is not showing the current, only the voltage and that is much higher for sure. chrging Voltage 15000mV... and more.. AIDA is only showing the current..  Post time 2017-4-6 15:42
Bro Thanks for file, but i can,t understand where Umi z falls.  Post time 2017-4-6 15:30

@adnan - I believe there are several conditions that has to be met, for the phone to enable quick charging. If the check fails, the quick charge is not enabled for safety reasons (it could burn your cable or phone). I don´t know where the problem might be either (charger, cable, battery stats?). I can´t say I understand everything from that PDF, I am not an engineer I just thought it might provide some info for someone more experienced than me.

I am getting "Charging rapidly" all the time up to around 90% of the battery.
So that should mean the phone is in the safe area for quick charging.
Nevertheless, this morning it took a bit more than 1 hour to reach 100% from around 70%.
The curious issue with my phone is that the quickest charging occurs after it reaches 90% when the phone goes into "Charging" mode.
From 90% to 100% it jumps in about 10 minutes, for the time being.
Anyway, this should be probably the never ending story.
