Hi,
No, it's not an update file, don't flash this ROM on your phone if its version number is 3.05 or lower.

New firmware  versions don't support old Umi rome X/ Umi rome X version 1, Umi rome X version 2 revision 1 and revision 2...../. If You nave Umi rome X with factory firmware 3.01 or 3.02, You are able to use old stock firmware, OTA update, custom firmware like Amigo, Fly Me.......or go to russian forums like 4PDA.ru for user compilations of working firmware.

Thanks for clarifying bencebacsi. Can I suggest you make this clearer in the OP? Many of us are eager for updates to fix various issues so when a version which appears newer than what we have, it would be normal to want to try it out.

Maybe the version number could also include the device version, if not compatible with all?

Are you able to comment on mitkovfu's post - will there be no firmware updates for older Umi Rome X devices?

Thanks, I'm quite tempted to try other versions. I had a look at that site but don't speak Russion and Google Translate isn't really up to the job.

I don't suppose you could start some threads in English on xda-developers?

Please post your resources in a new thread in the Products/UMi Rome X section. Let me know if you've done and then I'll delete this post. The ROM section is only for sharing stock ROMs, not for custom ROMs, except if a such ROM is released by UMi.
