WHEN IS THE RELEASE OF ANDROID 7.0 NOUGAT FOR THE UMI SUPER?!

hello i had the umi touch and it was easy and did most of the common stuff .....any how i liked the umi brand so i upgraded to the umi super and yes its nice and works well but i tried to add some music ( tunes ) and it wont do it that sucks got to have the tunes in the car this is baisc stuff can anyone help i just would like to add music thanks if some one can let me know how not happy.......

Since yesterday the update to "UMI SUPER.V7.01_20170123" is ready for me.
But I am unsure and do not know if I should install the update.
Currently my SUPER runs very stable and I have no difficulties with "UMI SUPER.V3.02_20161017".
An update makes sense only if it does not get worse.

Who already has Android 7 on the UMI SUPER?
How are your experiences with "UMI SUPER.V7.01_20170123"?
What mistakes are there?
What became worse?
What got better?

I'd stay with 20161017 if I was you. If a downgrade hadn't involved a complete wipe, I'd done so long ago. It's mostly battery life in general and with BT on in particular that nags me. That, in combination with no quick charge (at least very unreliable) is the mayor minus.
Not much has actually improved - I've found both versions (latest 6 and first 7) quite stable and well working allaround - Of course split screen and other Nougat features may be of interest, but...

If I've read correctly, yes you can. Not sure you'll still be rooted/have your custom recovery after update, but...
Then again, I'd hold off until next update is out.

They should have delayed it much longer and stopped the release altogether. Major issues. God, I wish i hadn't upgraded....I'm surprised the phone didn't get thrown at the wall....

The "UMI SUPER.V7.01_20170123" update seems to have a problem with wifi dhcp client.
My phone keeps rebooting every time i switch on the wifi and connect to a network.
