In short: Yes, UMi use Adups, but in Marshmallow an older version, not with this "vulnerability". The upcoming Nougat beta will have the vulnerability, while the final Nougat release will have a later version where the spyware/vulnerability is no longer present. If you disable all Adups software you lose the OTA updates and will have to install new ROM releases using the SP Flash Tool.

Since FOTA does not work for me anyways (because I am rooted and I use TWRP) I decided to simply disable the two adups packages using Titanium backup. I hope that's enough.
