Why did you turn 3G on, this can be seen on the video?
You can try with 3G off, this should solve the tough screen problem, at least this helps for some other Mediatek phones with the same problem.

It has to be a hardware problem, umi must provide explanations to customers affected by this issue. For me, I ended up breaking the screen has the force of typing it. What is amazing is that the touchscreen is unusable with broken screen. The phones of other brands work well with broken screen. I finally removed the screen but could not find the remplacement.Conclusion, phone asleep in a drawer. Very disappointed in this phone and it will be my last phone of this brand

I prefer the sale of spare pieces if anyone interested. that price for a replacement screen, I prefer to buy a brand ulefonne phone or oukitel

Whats your firmware version, from what i read there is problem with september release(.09), try updating to the latest version:

That's not the last one. My super is better (touch) with the November release. Go to rom in this forum (for the Super) and flash the latest. Not perfect but way better.
