I did not say that I use it in car. I only said that I want and I expect the basic function for SUPER FLAGSHIP.  What's more when this functions are implemented for other mobiles as is TOUCH. By the way, I do not know how about yours, but my SUPER buttons looks wery crank after 10 days. Then I thing it will be better for all if I will can wake up my SUPER by double tap. The same about Flip to Mute.

I absolutely agree with Dalidah's post - double-tap to wake is excellent function and my last phone which I bought 2.5 years ago had it out-of-the-box(Oppo Find7)! It's actually one of the most addictive functions I've ever seen - anytime I have a new phone in my hands I find myself tapping it like crazy in order to wake it. Definitely the most addictive wake-function out there by a long shot. It makes using the phone so much more comfortable. And again I agree with Dalidah's safety aspect of the thing when it comes to using it as navigation. If the screen blacks out and navigation stays quiet u don't even have to take your eyes out of the road and just double tap your mobile in the holder and off you go - all is well.

Replying to SierraBravo's comment - which cave do you come from? I suggest you learn some basic politeness replying legitimate posts or don't reply at all. And to use the same rude tone you did towards Dalilah: saying that one is not supposed to use your phone in the car at all is the dumbest argumentation I've seen in a while lol! In most countries I've been to and drove it is not against the law to use mobile phone as navigation. Actually I don't know about a single country where using phone as navigation in car would be against the law. Maybe SierraBravo can give me a lesson and teach me something new! JFYI SierraBravo - it's against law to use your phone to make calls without the BT headset or text. Should your stupid argumentation about illegality of using phone at car be true, all those companies developing android navigation apps would have to close!

Lol

I wouldn't consider my post rude against dalilah, if anything at all I'd say it's a bit harsh - in this case totally intended to convey the underlying message.

Please reread my post again carefully, CaptainTom, to find out that I never said anything about laws or illegality. I did say he/you/anyone is not supposed to use a smartphone (or any other distracting device) in the car, especially not if it occassionally turns off and draws the driver's attention.
I guess, you're aware that we have dedicated navigation devices out there, build to draw as little attention as possible from the driver. And even those devices pop up a warning, that you should not interact with them while driving, but only at standstill - at least the more serious devices do this. Which exactly supports my point by the way...

Again, this has yet nothing to do with laws, but is pretty much common sense - to get back to your "cave" allegation (not rude?!).

I didn't say that's the way I handle it nor did I say anything against DTTW, which is a really useful feature and highly needed.

There are many good reasons for DTTW and, of course, I can understand yours and dalilahs original point. It is a nice to have feature, but in absolutely no way could a smartphone manufacturer (UMI) be held responsible for your driving safety. That's the whole issue with the argument.

Furthermore, this discussion is quite OT and only spamming the thread, so in case you have anything to add, please do so via PM.

Alright I thought you will have enough sense to think about your post(which was most likely the most useless post in this forum anyway), learn a lesson and won't spam this forum with another useless posts! Well I have no problem continue in this conversation and just wait and laugh how you manage to make even bigger fool of yourself with every other reply of yours.

But let's start from the begining SierraBravo - well if you think that calling someone elses opinion, publicly, being the dumbest thing you've ever heard is not rude, just a bit harsh, than I hope you wouldn't consider me being rude if I have said I find you the dumbest member of this forum! Please don't get upset because I think it's not rude, only bit harsh maybe - but in this case totally intended to convey the underlying message. Got my point?

BTW I am very well aware you never said anyting about the law and illegality - I'm pretty good at reading and understanding English - but in that case who are you to tell me and other people I am not supposed to use my mobile as navigation AT ALL? Oh so there is neither law, nor rule nor regulation to back up your "shout into the dark" about safety vs usage of devices in your vehicle but you still think that anybody will listen to you or take you seriously? I have a surprise for you - nobody cares about what you are saying because you have no valid points and nothing to back you up, just empty words. People have been using devices like radio tuners, casette/cd/mp3 players, aircon controllers, built-in navigations since ages and it's perfectly fine to do so should people are doing it sensibly, at right time and using their brain while doing so. Should you have read carefully, used your brain at least a little before you had typed some other nonsense, you would have noticed that it was exactly Dalilahs point which you called the dumbest thing! He said it's great to have DTTW in case the navigation stops working because phone goes to sleeping mode and his navigation stops instructing him where to drive. If he had DTTW function he can just tap the display without even looking at it and off he goes with navigation back on. But without it he has to look for the tiny power button to wake his mobile which is sometimes even more difficult because of the different mobile holders designs.

Furthermore, with your remark our discussion is quite OT and only spamming the thread, then I'm surprised you were picking on Dalilah publicly instead of doing so via PM(as you suggested to me) because not only was your post rude(I know, you call it just bit harsh) but was absolutely useless, didn't helped anyone nor solved anything and clearly was JUST SPAMMING THE THREAD! And while I agree our discussion is OT I do not agree its spamming the thread. It's about respect to others(something you're clearly missing) and bad attitude towards other members(you are not lacking this one). I give you one very good advice for your future - despite hiding behind a nondescriptive nickname in relative safety of your room somewhere, before you start picking on someone just think if you would have the balls to do the same in real life, let's say in the local pub in the evening and not in the safety of the internet where nobody knows you.

And to get back to the topic I'm glad we all agree that DTTW would be a nice feature to have, especially due to the fingerprint scanner being on the back. But as well I believe that this device is plagued with so many more important bugs which need to be addressed first that we may wait for DTTW implementation for quite a bit.

Enough said for today, good night everybody, brgds
