First they said Mid-July, then they said End of July, somewhere along the road they discovered a flaw in the ROM for Umi IRON, so they got delayed, I'm guessing they had the same problem on Emax.
So far their hand drawn update graph says august 18A.  I'm not sur what the A stands for though... sigh I'm still waiting to receive the phone for the last 30 days now so I cross my fingers that 4.4.4 will not affect me for long.   Best of luck everyone!

The answer to "when" is "when it shows up." As unhelpful as it is, thus is the nature of software updates. The only time there's a proper release date is when they have it finished and are just holding it behind for marketing/testing reasons.
If I told you it's going to be released August 23 it wouldn't make a difference... It could just as easily get released December 5....

Stop asking this question because the answer won't ever satisfy you. When it's out, it's out.

As far as I know there are not too much MTK672 phones get Lollipop 5.1 upgrade. There are some 5.0 upgrades but 5.0 is not robust and a lot of people does not happy with 5.0. If I won't have 5.1, there is no need to upgrade to 5.0.
