Upgrade no difference, the phone still cuts out, I think either the phone is fauly or the battery is bad and it was like it when I got it.

Also the GPS does not work at all, I have now given up on this phone and going to buy another one, but this phone has really put me of the umi brand, I will never buy another UMI phone again and will let all my friends know to stay clear of this brand as they make inferior products and cant fix the problems.

again anyone reading this, dont bother with this model of phone, its crap, it cuts out and the gps does not work at all. really badly made product

Yes, it's a common problem. All Umi Rome /X have touch and gps problems.
