Hi bencebacsi, thank you very much for your kind reply.
The earbuds are not BT but wired. One of them is the Veclan Monk Plus, another is from a cheap unknown company, another from JBL, which works fine but the audio quality is crap.

thank you!

B.

Hi, Tested now with a pair of CCA C-16 earphones and the Bison has a pretty decent quality and powerful audio jack output. Unfortunately, I can't tell you what the problem could be at you, without personally checking your devices. It can be either a software or hardware issue or all of your earphones. Let's see if other users report such an issue.

Dear administrator. Explain, please. Why don't you pay attention to other topics. Not only do you have a phone that is not a fountain of bugs. So you also forget about the guarantee, everything connected with it. F2 has failed the fingerprint scanner and the microphone works then no. And you neither here nor through your site do not want to raise this question. Can you give an answer? Throw out the F2 phone or will you help to solve this issue?

Hi,
It's not a bug of the F2 but a manufacturing (hardware) issue of a few dozens of handsets of the first batch issued by the factory. Unfortunately we have nothing to do with it here on the forum. You should contact your seller and ask them to make your phone repaired or replaced in warranty. Actually you should have contacted your seller immediately as you experienced these issues, I guess quite a long time ago.
Regards, Ben

another issues - sadly i can't open new topic on that.
i use Check Point's SandBlast app and it reports the "Wireless Update" app we have in BISON is a malware (com.adups.fota)
did a bit research in the web and indeed it seems this app reported as a backdoor/trojan app. any suggestions how to remove it?

It's a false alert. That app probably works from a very old database. Adups manages the wireless system updates, so you can't remove it and you have no reason to remove it. Some versions of the ADUPS FOTA client used to collect some sensitive user data, 4 years ago but UMIDIGI devices have never been involved, not even 4 years ago. You can read ADUPS' statement about this situation here: https://adups.com/article/show_article.php?id=183
Other, frequently and skillfully updated antivirus apps will not find any malware on the BISON. I checked now with Avast and McAfee. If any time you find such an issue, please always double check it with other solutions before reporting it.

I have this peculiar observation when wiping cache in recovery mode.
it shows

E:Fota Installation aborted
E::No such file or directory.

Can anyone help me understand what that means?

Sudden;y, I realised that going to recovery is so different from my A5Pro. I have to get through the dead droid screen.

I thought initially the Bison it was also showing the black screen with chioce of recovery, fastboot or reboot? Did I remember wrongly?

Weirdly, Settings detecting the Bison as a Pixel?? Lol.

it shows

1. You may ignore those error messages in recovery. They are just the result of a batch command targeting a (currently) non-existent storage drive.
2. You can read the instructions for entering the recovery menu in every ROM thread with OTA release.
3. The settings menu suggestions is not part of the settings app but it's provided by a standalone app (Settings Suggestions), created by Google, using its own list of suggestions, without the abilities of identifying the hardware. There's a solution for removing the settings menu suggestions here: https://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=19517

The problem is that your official store on Aliexpress does not respond to letters. Therefore, it remains to write on the official forum. That I can somehow get through to you. Read that I'm not the only one there. And if you looked there you would see it. And they could have solved it earlier.
