USB connection to PC

I also have problems with USB connection to PC in my near new Iron Pro.  I am using the correct cable as supplied by the retailer and have tried it both ways. It will only charge and there is no pop up window. I see a suggestion to use v3.02 by flashtool but this surely cant be expected for a basic function?
Kernel version is 3.10.65+
Build is UMIIRON Pro V3.02
Custom build version is ALPS.L1.MP3.V2_RGK6753.65U.L1_P37
Android version 5.1
Baseband version:Moly.Lr9 etc

I also have problems on this phone with changing from wireless to mobile
and with contacts syncing with google contacts.

None of these issues were present with my cheap Alcatel MPop phone with same provider, same local network etc.

Help please!

Did you arrived to install v3.02 by flashtool?

If yes, to solve sync problem in google contacts you have to install this apk

About problem changing from wifi to mobile data, what kind of problems do you have?

No I did not use flashtool to install v3.02.  3.02 was already installed

Often when using Google Search I cannot get any results. I have to go and turn off wireless, then turn it on again, and usually that solves the problem. But then it will happen again and I have to do the same thing.   I have great wireless reception and as well I have locked in the MAC address of my UMI Iron Pro with both routers.

Synching Problem SOLVED.  I used the GoogleContactsSync.apk.

However, I still cannot make a USB connection to my PC. Still working on the wireless issue.

Please, try with another USB cable. such issues mostly caused by the defection of the USB cable.

Hi, I have the same problem: my phone only seems to be charging when connected to my computer, I've tried with 4 different cables and two computers, no pop-up menu, neither the "Unknown device" on my computer
It seems like my phone does not understand it is connected to a computer, I don't know what to do, please help me
