i feel you on bluetooth, i did factory restore. it kinda made it better but still at times can make audio cut off/static for a second or two, when im using my bluetooth earbuds.
Really one thing that annoys me is i guess cant use/change bluetooth settings (like audio codec, sample rate, bit per sample). It will always result back to stock settings shortly after leaving developer settings (when my earbuds are aptxHD capable , it results back to AAC). Had this months for several months, from upgrading a moto X4, spec for spec and battery is lovly compared to that phone. But wifi range performance and bluetooth sure is a lil bit worse/inconsistent.

Have not. Was hoping not to have to do that, it's such a pain!

As soon as I got mine I added twrp recovery.  Then next time I pulled it from my pocket it was not booting, I have a hunch it was updates.  After using android fastboot to reflash system and recovery images from the latest firmware.   Then reflashing twrp recovery.... the phone now works again.

Not saying it will work for you but I was able to rescue my phone without using the MTK utility to flash it if anyone else is having these issues and can't use the MTK tools (had driver issues)

EDIT:  Also it appears that cpu cache is not enabled on the device and I believe it should have 2MB.  Allowing use of the cache should speed up the phone considerably so I'm curious why this is?

I’m reading reviews from the new firmware and I don’t understand, everyone is pushing that everything is fine and there is no screen hang, but I still have it hang, who has this problem? reflash several times nothing helps!

I also have, after an extreme update the screen freezes remain, it is annoying, nothing has been fixed. Although when I bought a new phone screen freezes did not exist, and they appeared after two extreme updates. Who has information when a new update with bug fixes and a new security patch will be released?

I'm a user in South Korea.
I really enjoy with my UMIDIGI S3 PRO.

Unfortunately, I can not use VOLTE in Korea.
I found that in Korea only can use TTA-VOLTE.
So, I want ask you about rom update for TTA-VOLTE.

Also If possible, please add 'Smart card service' for use NFC function in korea.

I think S3PRO is one of wonderful devices.
If you fix my issues, it will be more perfect device.
