These additional features are nice to have, but the essential question here is when are we going to get an update to fix the jittery video recording issue?
I'm very happy with the software support so far, but this issue has been dragging on for a long time now, making it virtually impossible to record a decent video.

No, that's not possible without a third party app and root access.

This is a very well-known issue that has been ignored for a long time.
Also, no info is provided by moderators regarding a fix (and when).
In the meantime, to get decent video recording, your best bet is to use Footej camera (my personal preference) or Open camera from the Play store.

seems like it. yes i have been using footej and open camera for now. hope umigdigi provides a fix soon though. it really spoils an otherwise great phone experience.
