Actually Google Play Protect is not managed by our developers. The Font manager app is in use for quite a long time already and it's never caused any security issues.

Android Pie is planned but currently we can't promise anything about it. The needed resources are not yet provided by MediaTek.
Swipe-up gesture navigation has been added but further gestures are not planned to be added.

bencedacsi, font manager is an application that will surely have its importance in the system, the problem is that it is automatically deactivated by play protect and there is no way to activate it

I found a fix for automatic launch of the application with an update at 1113 - 1132 OTA.
