This update changed nothing about the WiFi connection, so your issue is not related to the 0920 update. And anyway I can't confirm your claim. Try to "forget" your 5G WiFi connection(s), then connect them again.

Currently only the flash tool release of the V1.0_20180920 version is provided that you can use only for flashing your phone with SP Flash Tool via USB. So I have no imagination what you tried to install as a local update. You can't install OTA updates from TWRP, you need the stock recovery for that.

Overall the SN Writer Tool is a more reliable app than Maui META, so I recommend to use SN Writer, and you can find a detailed tutorial for it here. The fingerprint scanner identifier is not related to the nvram partition. The fingerprint activation tool works properly, already more than a hundred UMIDIGI users used it properly. Please read the tutorial carefully and strictly follow its instructions.

After updating to UMIDIGI_Z2_PRO_V1.0_20180823_20180920-1114,
I lost the b19 band.i so sad.

My microphone 1 doesn't seem to be working properly. I'm pretty sure it didn't work from the beginning, as I couldn't get "OK google" to work on 20180823 (the original firmware). I did not upgrade at the time because I was waiting for a fix for the camera and security-lock issues. I thought may "OK google" wasn't working because I did not log in with an account yet.

However, after updating to 20180914, the microphone still didn't work. Voice recorder records my voice fine, but I cannot be heard when making a call. After updating to 20180920, the microphone still doesn't work. I tested both microphones with the "*#*#33#*#*" single-test menu:
Microphone 1: FAIL
Microphone 2: PASS

Now I have checked around a bit, and I found that in 20180830, the EngineerMode code (*#*#3646633#*#*) works. I believe that initially the microphone also did not work in 20180830, but I'm not 100% sure that I tested it with the single-test on this version before making changes. I went into hardware testing > audio > volume > voice, and changed the "SIDETONE GAIN" from 0 to 164, the same value as the normal gain value. After this, microphone 1 worked. I then tried setting the sidetone gain back to 0, and the microphone still worked. Happy, I proceeded to upgrade again to 20180920. However, I found that now the microphone again wasn't working anymore in the single test. I downgraded again to 20180830, and now the microphone works again, without having to set the sidetone.

So my situation now seems to be:
20180830: microphone works
20180920: microphone does not work.

Could someone please help me?

btw thx ben and that V1.0_20180914 OTA release. I got my phone back to 0914 now.

At least it's working now.

As i said. With Update 08-23 i could >see< but not connect to 5Ghz Bands, with Update 09-14 i could manually connect to them and now with 09-20 its again that i can see them but i cant connect.
With cant connect i mean i press "connect" and it stays in "saved" mode and does nothing at all...
So dont claim it didnt do anything, im just reporting the Behaviour after each Update..

Furthermore I cant get more than roughly 9W charging power, via Cable or via QI. When will that be fixed? It takes forever at the moment to fully charge the Phone advertised with "15W QI Quick Charge" and "18W Quick Charge"...

On with channel does your 5Ghz broadcast? I had the same problem, but got it solved after changing the channel to the higher ones.

It casts on Channel 36 at the Moment, but it would be silly if thats the matter anyway. How am i supposed to control other WLANs to switch to a higher Channel?
