Ok, your issue is caused by the TCL factory firmware or the first unbrick kit, that also was a TCL firmware in fact. Now I'm in the same situation (SIMs and IMEIs are OK but no network), so we can work on this problem together from now.

I am very happy to hear this
I'm sorry of course for your problem, but I think you did to help out, right?

personally, I will continue to help the community.
First unbrick kit and lewa QRIL on first page, allow the installation of CyanogenMod but ...this create problems with network and others things.
Maybe, is better to warn of this ....we must not distribute the cyanogen for the moment (in my opinion)

Thank you

EDIT: I saw the topic. Now it is written very well, congratulations we hope to solve

I have same problem as you two guys, but the difference is that I had "no network" status before any unbrick repair tool, on stock ROM.

I've already restored my phone and now working on a general solution. The issue is caused by the missing or corrupted EFS data.

Yes of course before experimenting I made a full twrp backup. No general solution yet, sorry. Try to restore this backup from twrp: umi_emax_mini_TWRP_ESF_backup.rar
Please let me know if that worked for you.

EDIT: And if you are successful, check if you got back your original IMEI numbers or some new ones.

Hi I was planning to (when I receive my device) to use the TLC M3G PC command line rooting tool, and to try some roms of the the TLC, because I thought thst it is exactly the same phone. But reading the last posts in this thread I have my doubts. So my question is: Should I do or don't use any TLC based Rooting tools and Roms?

Hi,

No, the two models are not exactly the same, they use different basebands. That must be possible to port TLC M3G ROMs to UMI eMax Mini, but you can't use them as are. I say that now after long time and thorough experimenting.
