Oh no please, fix this, this black screen is so ugly i never saw this on any other phone omg ...
I'll tell other people that the UMIDIGI Z do that and they will not want to buy it...

About the black notification panel: It's not a bug, of course but an intentional action (as Marcin said) to improve the readability of the notification panel.
If this anyway very small change in the UI makes you so mad but your phone is rooted, you can turn the black layer off by editing the build.prop file.

• Install BuildProp Editor on your phone
• Open the app and search for ro.kw_black_statuspanel
• Change Yes to No by editing the line, then save it
• Reboot your phone to let your changes take effect

I'm not going to be one of those angry/rude people. You have worked so hard on this update and bringing the UMI Z to Nougat 7.1.1 was MORE than the expected 7.0. Thank you for this. Although, there can be some areas of improvement - I'm glad you brought this OTA out.

This means that you will just have to enter your fingerprints in again.

Not many people asked for it I think, hopefully will be improved in the next update.
