So, here is a fact - I think we've been left alone in this thread, with no further support.

I've checked MarcinP's profile and it says that he was last active on 10 February 2019. That's almost a month ago. And that includes any thread for any phone.
bencebacsi seems to be the only one left on the forum, but he's the Admin, dealing mostly with ROM updates and only sometimes joining the general part of the forum. If there's anyone willing to step in as a moderator, I think Umidigi would be happy to have you.
In any case, let's all somehow try to contact bencebacsi for support, because the issues we have with the phone (the video recording issue, primarily) really must be fixed. In addition to other reported problems.

Hello. I have a Umidigi One and i love it. But when i try reply the whatsapp status, the screen don't show the text that i type. Only when I put the cell phone horizontally.

I'm trying to solve a problem with my absolutely new One Pro and I do not know what else to do.

So I was using the stock system the way it came (UMIDIGI_One_Pro_V2.0_20180815_20190107-1926) and it was working normally, so I installed all my applications and restored all my data.

After a while I started experiencing random reboots, which happen literally at all times. I thought the cause could be some of my thirty party apps,
So I tried to start in safe mode without then, but the reboot loop continued.

After that, I tried a factory reset, besides wipe all the caches. When I started the system, it still in the android window wizard, in the language choice, and again it started to reboot alone.

It has come to a point where practically everything is a trigger to reboot, plug the usb charger cable, push the power button to turn off the screen, or open any application.

I do not know what to do anymore. and its strange that even after formatting all the data and cache, the problem continues.

some observations:
- I doubt it is a hardware problem, since before it worked normally. and when I am in the TWRP the smartphone does not restart.
-When I turn off the wifi and the 4g, it takes a little longer to reboot.
-i have the confidence that is something related to the cache or a software problem of some of the google apps.
-I'm not using SD card and I already tried to run without the SIM card, but the problem persists.

Any help will be grateful, thanks.

I've just received a new update (20190318), the description said 'Minor bug fixes', and I hope it fixes at least some of the reported issues. Please report if you've noticed any improvements, or any new issues.
From what I've noticed, the video recording function seems to be better now, but still not as good as with the Footej camera app.

However, one thing they changed/messed up is the ability to use Face ID (face unlock) when the phone is locked by admin (for example, when I use Nova Launcher's Double Tap to Lock function).
If I lock the phone using this function, Face unlock doesn't work and I'm now required to enter my pattern/password.
If I've locked the phone using the Power button, I can use Face unlock to unlock. This is very bad for the Power button, as in time it will wear and tear, and we'll be forced to find an alternative.

Anyway, I'm happy that development is still active for the phone, but it would be great if their updates wouldn't mess up good functions.

I like the phone very much but I am a bit disappointed.

This Seller is making my life very difficult, my phone is broken after 3 months and they will not send me a new one, they told me to try and repair it in Finland which I tried but I was told that it is totally broken. The Seller then told me to send it to back to China, it is now in China and they said I can order a new one ??? They have now taken my money and my phone back and I have nothing !!!!! How is this possible ? I have payed for repair inspection in Finland €30 and post to China €33 for €147 phone which I do not now have !?!?!?!?!

Very sad and disappointed because its a great phone

I hate to hear something like that happen.

I had a C Note, that had a problem similar to that, but the seller wouldn't refund more than 1,5€, which I told them to shove it and reported them on aliexpress, though it wasn't any use. In the end I ordered a new motherboard and a battery and got it working myself after spending an extra 45€ on them.

This is when I decided only to use the official Umidigi store, thinking I could trust them. If what you say is true, I don't think I'll be buying anything else once my One Pro eventually cracks in half. It should be obvious, that you can't fix them in Finland, if they're not sold here. Even ordering parts takes a month, and we know they won't be refunded. If all goes well, you get a great phone that's very good value, but in most cases you get a piece of plastic that ends up costing more than a real phone.

Keep us posted, I really want to know how it goes. By the way, have you tried annoying them on facebook and all possible places? I know they don't understand buyer protection / rights like you would. I guess that's why there's not general forum. All the positive posts here are by moderators.

And the customer service which is non existant, how can they get people to buy more products when they behave like this

My One Pro phone also died after 3 months, tried all the same things as you, but to no avail.
I was told all the same stories by the seller also
Its now on its way back to China i'm hoping for the best, which store did you buy it from ?

I bought the one pro about 4 month ago and it was working fine until the phone stop working and refuse to turn on. it only shows red light when connected to charger and the same happen to my london last year both phone have refuse to turn on and i took the both to repair shop but they couldnt do anything . i think you should make your phones better and now i have wasted my money to buy your phones and i dont think i will buy again or advise anyone to buy it
