Recover dead fingerprint scanner Android 8.1 [CLOSED]

I received my file from Ben and re-activated the fingerprint sensor just fine.  However, I am a little confused about the restore of the IMEI numbers, as I checked the box and the IMEI's do differ from what my phone says (I never noticed), but the phone seems to be working perfectly.

Do I need to restore back the IMEI's to the ones it shows on the box?  If I do that, will the fingerprint reader option disappear?

Hi, Yes, you should set the original IMEI numbers (printed on the box) with SN Writer. You don't have to worry about that since...
1. Using SN Writer will not affect the fingerprint scanner.
2. You can use your ActiveResponse.txt file any times again.
The content of the ActiveResponse.txt is based on the unique hardware identifier of your phone that never can change, so you can reuse it but it can't be used with any other phones.
