Does anyone know if MTK Engineer Tools work on the UMIDIGI One Max ?
I am considering buying the One Max, but I want to make sure MTK engineer tools (repair imei) work as I have a tendency to fvck up imeis when I flash phones and that feature has saved me many times. Thanks

I do not recommend using SN WRITE to write EMEI. This has a huge amount of bugs. In 90 percent of cases, you are waiting for constant errors and software crashes. I do not want to intimidate anyone, but you can get more about it in any essay or article about this system. For example, the so-called one hundred percent error is very common. This is an error that happens immediately after the system is fully loaded. I believe that despite its ease of use it is not the best choice.

Hello, It seems that my brother-in-law made his A3 format all. And well here I am because I don't have IMEI.

Now, I have been trying to restore the original imei for 2 hours. I follow all the steps as is the tutorial. With the exception of step 7, since selecting "Enable AutoGen" displays a pop-up window that I don't know what to select since if I don't select any option, AutoGen is not enabled.

Following other tutorials skip the passage of AutoGen, but still I get the same error. --> "Enable MODEM meta from AP meta fail"

I also have two "MDDB" files. Which one should I use? one starts at "MDDB.META_MT6739 ..." weighs 243KB and the other "MDDB_InfoCustomAppSrcP ..." and weighs 16,313Kb

I appreciate a prompt response and why the error, as I said; I have drivers, original rom re installed with the version provided in the forum through "download mode" and "upgrade firmware", AP and DB files supplied in the installed rom.

I finally found the solution. I will leave my first post for the one with the same problem I can solve.

The solution was to make a "Format All + Download" as the last option. Luckily he gave me I guess some generic imei, and with the previous tutorial I modify them without problems. It seems that the Nvram was having many problems before.
