The user area of the internal memory is also called SD card by the system. Please quote precisely the error message you get, or share a photo of your screen with the error message to let us help you. Also try to delete and copy the OTA file again.

Hallo,

the problem was that I hadn`t enough storage. I now updated my device. And I like it very much. Have no probs until now. Only thing is that the device keeps being hot when you use it while charging.

I had the same problem after installing 7.1.1 but I had my SD card formatted as extended internal memory. I changed the sd card to work as an external memory and after that all applications started working normally.

I was also looking at this topic and saw that people have a lot of issues with Z Pro. I am glad that I have no issues at all.

The only thing UMIDIGI should work on is the battery life.
My Z PRO stays alive for max one day.
My UMI Super with the same usage works 2 days with Android 7 on board.
Also when charging the device get's hot.

As far as I know, the developers cannot reproduce this issue on their own devices since it's relat ...

If you want i can return to nougat and provide logcat log with the errors...maybe  can help to developers to solve GSM error iusses.

After this update, and I believe that other people are having the same problem, my device's "LANTERN" is constantly turning "On and Off" constantly, featuring an incredible bug, as this affects how the camera works. The camera application does not open anymore because it identifies that another possible software is using the flashlight. I've already done a "Hard Reset", I already did a clean installation of the new Rom via SPFT, however as soon as the phone connects the problem soon appears. I would like to know if there is any provision for fixing this bug. I really liked the new customization of the new Android, but I had to go back to version 6.0 until the problem is solved. I do not know if this problem occurs with other devices other than Umi, but I believe you are trying to solve the problem as soon as possible. Still awaiting.

I'd like to also let you know that charging quickly, which was one of the cool things on the device, is no longer available in the new version of Android (At least the device no longer informs you when it's charging quickly mode ""charging quickly"" ). This is bad because we do not know if it is in ultra charge mode or normal mode.

I also want to take advantage of the bug in the camera focus problem. When you touch the screen so that the auto shutter puts the focus on some object, the image is brightly lit, making the pictures look horrible. And I was one of the most praised the camera of Umidigi Z Pro to my friends in social networks. Unfortunately we will need a new rom with these fixes.

Upgraded via OTA, can't live with android 6 after using 7 for months :-(

Things look good signal is so far superior to my old nexus 5 and vernee apollo lite (junk) it's smooth on 7 :-) and silky. look forward to a long lasting love affair :-) Bokeh
