One very easy way to check if you've successfully unlocked the bootloader is - when the phone is booting and before the Umidigi logo - you see some text mentioning something about Orange mode and how your device isn't secure.

As for the rest of your comment, I don't think I understand what you're asking. SP Flash Tool is used to flash ROMs and related files onto your phone; it is not what allows you to unlock it. Using ADB and fastboot commands with the PowerShell/Command Prompt is what grants the unlocked bootloader. That's among the first steps you take to unlock the bootloader, then you use SP Flash Tool to flash a custom recovery (like TWRP).

Ah you have to unblock the bootloader on umidigi F1?

And what about luminosity and proximity sensors bugs? It works for some time but suddently it stops working/responding.. The only thing to do is to reboot the phone... It's really boring (in particular while calling..)

but on F1 umidigi there is no possibility to receive root permissions without unlocking the bootloader? updating only
  the boot.in image with magisk as umidigi one / one pro.

Just got the new update and it doesnt seem to have put Quickstep back again - any way to get this back?!

If you deleted it with adb I think you must reflash the full rom when will be released.. for me no problem now I am using nova and performances are tuned up.. also camera seems better

Yeah, that was going to be my suggestion.

If you're interested in going this route, just use SP Flashtool with the stock firmware files and everything should be fine.
