If you flash the unofficial (or any other) ROM, you don't have to perform a factory data reset separately, just flash your phone in Firmware Upgrade mode. You will lose your user data on any phone after a factory data reset.

Not really. This e-fuse cannot be triggered, it's uncrackable via USB connection.

Which version of SP Flash Tool are you using? Are you sure, you have a UMIDIGI S2 Pro, not an S2 (without Pro)? The S2 Pro is based on MT6757D while the S2 is on MT6757.

Unlocking the bootloader has no effect on MTK SoC based phones. You can't flash custom recoveries thanks to the Efuse partition protection.
