Not really a lot, just keep it in mind, satisfied users won't come here to tell us how well the GPS ...

True,  but in fairness bence the GPS is not as accurate as it could possibly be. In comparison to the Oneplus it's very out.  Try a game called ingress and see the accuracy move 20ft away from where you are located,  it's very sporadic.

Kedves Bencebacsi!
I got back my phone from the trader yesterday in Hungary after a ROM reinstall on the brand new device. It is a shame already....
Now I try to test slowly everything in the phone and this GPS issue is horrible. My phone shows me on the map, so there is signal, but if I set a destination, nothing happens now. For the first try it lost signal after 100 meters (but showed me moving on the map), but the destination was lost.
Since then sometimes it shows me the route to a destination, but no navigation happens if I start to go, it losts the signal fully and shows me that I am "offline".... but in the meantime it shows me moving on the map... Crazy.
So, it is not jumping.... but no navigation happens absolutely. Once again, I got my device back yesterday after a ROM reinstall, in the afternoon I installed the last update OTA, and it is the status now.
How to go on?

This is beyond a joke and shame that  GPS and 4G signals are so terrible. Basically, there is no way you can us any sat nav or even google maps as gps signal is never locked. It gets a little bit better when phone protection is removed. But that's not the way other phone work.
Also 4G and 3G in UK is awful. I can get 10x higher speeds on the same sim card but on different phone in the same place. My other phone can have 5 bar 4G signal and UMI only get average 3G.
It's a good looking and fast phone but above issues make the phone useless.

Agree with Dsibilla, GPS and 4G connectivity is really important in my line of work, if I would have known this model has theses problems, I wouldn't have bought it. So the question is, should I just buy another phone that works, or should't I wait for some miricle update for these problems ?

First umi product I'v bought by the way, didin't turn out to be so super..

Given all the criticism regarding 3g/4g and GPS issues I would imagine that if they are both software related then surely UMI will fix them in the next OTA.
If that doesnt happen then I guess it means its a hardware issue and therefor not fixable.
The next OTA is crunch time for this product.

My GPS is really terrible. Look at this.
On 10km route phone say 45km. Google Maps is absolutely unusable.

I have used Google maps navigator in UMI Super. In a previous track comparision, UMI Super track (GPS + GLONASS) has shown to be less stable than GPS only UMI C1: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/dis ... 0016-48224-map.html  Android GPS location settings were set up to GPS/device only. I will do another comparison with a device which also uses GLONASS satellites. I am not sure the added instability is due to GLONASS signal/location.
