Personalizing call activity screen?

Attaching the screenshot that explains better.
Is there a way to change the theme, personalize the shown content, e.g. by adding the contact's picture when there is a call in progress?
Is it stock Android, or implemented by UMi engineers?

I'm bugged by the same thing. Although some of my contacts have pictures on their profiles, the pictures don't show when in a call. How can we change it? Is it possible?

Hello there.

Even if I found that wine red color appealing, I wanted to see the pictures of my contacts. Alas, the only way to do that is to have changed the recovery to TWRP and flash a .zip file.

Thanks a lot. I think I am too cautious for bugging with the official dialer on "firmware" level.

No problem!

But keep in mind that rooting and changing the recovery isn't that hard and there is lots of support here and online alike.
It would give you a whole lot of freedom and control and you could always revert back to "stock" rom and recovery.

Hi,

Came back to let you know that the 20170123 Nougat ROM has finally received this feature. ;)
Even the theme is much nicer and fitting to the rest of the schemes.

I won't get myself a Nougat soon, until xPosed compatibility.
