Hello,

I own a UMI Hammer and have issues with my 3G and mobile reception. I have tried resetting the phone. Other people with the same provider but different phones have no issues. Im not in a remote area but rather in the middle of the city. I guess my antenna is broke? Is there any way to fix it?

Kind regards

Lolly

I'm living in Germany and using O2 with my UMI Hammer as well and have no connection problems, full signal most of the time.

Your antenna seems to be broken. In theory you can replace it, but that will require some work and disassembling the phone. The GSM antenna is located on the bottom of your phone. When you remove the backcover you can actually see it below the battery left to the speaker.

A good place to get a replacement would be ebay. Sometimes you can buy broken phones there, which (most likely) have a functional antenna, e.g. with broken touch screen.
