Since the latest update, my back camera is not working any more, I have tried in several apps, the icon to switch cameras has dissapeared.
In settings it only seems to show the from camera only.
My UMI Touch is not rooted.
Can anyone help please?

Dear Pdcpic,

To rule out the possibility of an existing software error, I suggest you the flash your phone with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option in the flasher application. That process will completely rewrite the whole software content of your device. - You will lose your user data.

If that process doesn't help, then your phone should be opened to reconnect the ribbon cable of the camera module. In that case I suggest you to take your phone to a local repair shop or contact your reseller to help you resolve your issue.

Regards,
Bence

Hi, tried and unfortunately it is still not working.

If I open the phone myself and manage to get to the camera, will I void the warranty?
As i believe the back cover can just be clicked off.

I still think it is weird that after the last upgrade it stopped working,.. before it was fine

The camera is a bit loose,.. I have opened the back,.. I am trying to build up the courage to unscrew the motherboard to check if the ribbon is attached properly, lol

"I still think it is weird that after the last upgrade it stopped working,.. before it was fine" - That can be an accidental coincidence. Since you're the first one who reports a such issue, that seems to be believable.
There's a warranty sticker on a screw of the plate that covers the battery connector. Removing that voids the warranty.
