Something to worry about?  did a Malware scan using malwarebytes on phone and found Android/PUP.HackTool.MgYun.a /data/app/com.mgyun.shua,protector-1/base.apk for the UMI connection service app

Anyone with the same issue? and what is the UMI connection service app used for and is it safe to remove?

Thanks

Dear markiered,

That's a background app installed by Rootjoy Windows application. Rootjoy needs it to get access for system resources of the phone. That's not harmful (fake alert) but if you don't want to use Rootjoy anymore, you can get rid of this app by uninstalling the 'UMI connection service' app.

Regards,
Bence
