umi rome wifi and screen problems

I have a umi rome now for a week.
2 problem that are negative:
1. wifi drops a lot even when it is very close to accesspoint with strong signal.
2. trouch screen is reacting slow and top of screen is reacting badly. entering notificationbar is difficult. playing games is not done.

it try to rom update on phone and rootjoy but that does not find update. i read here only update with developer skills... very bad for a normal enduser.

no reaction from umi at all. chinees holidays are ok but try to understand service world wide

Here you can follow 2 options

1.- Install ROM by rootjoy. On rootjoy section you can find a complet tutorial of how to use rootjoy. You could install v3.03

2.- On this forum, on Rom section you czn find a flashtool version of UMI Rome Rom. This is the most effective but is more difficult to install

In another hand touch screen sensibility is not very very good because UMI Rome is 2 points multitouch

will it solve my problems ? and what about discussion of gps problems with this rom. i use phone as gps so it has to work. In rootjoy it does not show rom...

i only use screem with max 2 fingers and still not ok at top and botton of screen

The screen isn't responsive at all. In normal use the screen has the habit too not respond to user input. If the screen responds, after a total lose of control, a deviation occurs. To give you an example; if you press the letter R on your touchkeyboard the suggested word above is selcted instead of the letter R.

I installed app that user talk about on a Rome which had the problem that when you were writting something user were pressing to a letter and was written another letter, and problem was fixed
