This is the SP Flash Tool release of the

E_V1.0_20220414 system software

for UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G and GT2 Pro 5G

European version for EEA countries

Flash tool operation is recommended to experienced users only. If you are not yet an experienced flash tool user, please carefully read the flash tool tutorial before proceeding, and strictly follow each instruction.

Except if an authorized or responsible expert directly asked you to do that,
never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!

UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G and GT2 Pro 5G receive all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your phone), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your phone able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with SPFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Extract the .rar file before use. The scatter file (MT6877_Android_scatter.txt) is inside the extracted folder, together with the other components.

SPFT: SP_Flash_Tool_v5.2208.rar

VCOM driver: Windows 10 can automatically install it. Please make sure that your Windows is logged in with administrator rights and your computer has a working internet connection when first time connecting your phone.


Here's an optional solution to start the flashing process on your UMIDIGI BISON GT2 5G or GT2 Pro 5G if the standard method doesn't work.
It's especially useful if your phone is bricked or is stuck in bootloop
1. Connect your phone to USB.
2. Start the flashing process with the Download button in the flasher app.
3. Press and hold the power button of your phone until the flashing process starts (red bar appears at the bottom of the app window), then release it. In this process you have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds.
4. Wait until the flashing process finishes.



Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with SP Flash Tool in Firmware Upgrade mode. In rare cases a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed ROM. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Hello . I got a new phone and new problems right away. The toolbar does not work on the phone. Thermometer , Barometer , Compass , Level . Image . The plumb line works. When I try to run it, it gives an error. Also, it is not possible to enter "settings" - "About phone" - causes an error in the settings application. The problem is massive on 4pda 4 owners have already confirmed this error. A new firmware with a fix is needed.

They are selling the Umidigi Bison GT2 5G pro cell phone on aliexpress with Android 12, but it comes with Android 11 and there is still a problem, you can send me the Rom so I can update or repair my device!

Hi, I can't reproduce any of your issues. Maybe it's related to the system language you're using. Could you please tell me what language is set on your phone?

Hi, This ROM is already available for download and an update will be issued soon.

"OS -------------- Android 11 / OTA Android 12*, Support Multi-Language and Google Play
*Android 12 updates will be pushed via OTA."

That is advertised on AliExpress and everywhere else, so please wait for the Android version upgrade.

Does this rom work for BISON GT2 PRO 5g too?
After two days of use I noticed that some apps were not working, such as the thermometer and other apps in the toolbox, they simply closed without opening. When I tried to enter "about device" in the settings, it also crashed and closed the application. I noticed that when I changed the language to English this did not happen. In addition, the installed Android has a problem, because it doesn't have a designer that Android 11 should have!!!

Hi,

The only technical difference between the BISON GT2 5G and GT2 Pro 5G is the double storage capacity of the GT2 Pro 5G. So yes, this ROM is compatible with both versions as the title and the description says.
Please let me know which language is set on your phone when you experience app crashes. Then I can check it and report to the engineers in order to fix it in the next system update.

Aparelho bom, mais cheio de falhas, estão falando de idiomas mais no português Brasil esta com as falhas relatadas acima, mais acho que e em todos idiomas, só da uma olhadinha no AliExpress, tem gente de toda parte do mundo reclamando, estão se queimando no mercado laçando aparelho com falhas!
