Offtopic: I've been an Umi/Umidigi user for 5 years. From Max, Super and Z Pro. Albeit the bad and infamous complains from the community, I was still able to enjoy using those three units. The worst part is of course the lack of update support. Those three units was stuck at their base ROM or if not, only updated once.

Today marks the death of my last working Umi/Umidigi unit, my Z Pro. Used it for 2 years when I bought it prelaunch. In those two years, I was burdened by overheating problems which cause the unit to have its battery explode. The seller on AliExpress didn't want to hear any of my request of replacement as the warranty was voided because I couldn't find the original metal case of the phone. So I bought a replacement battery and have it working again, only to die today after a year of balanced service.

TL;DR, I just want to thank Umi/Umidigi for their take on budget market. I was able to enjoy their units because they were really affordable. I frankly don't know myself if I will buy another Umi/Umidigi unit, but regardless, I wish they can improve in all aspects and will have a strong community. I strongly wish they can also provide good updates to fellow users frequently.

Umidigi F1 or Moto G7
I'm hoping I can get some input on a choice I am trying to make between these two phones. I just bought the Moto G7 from Best Buy on Sunday and overall I am enjoying the phone. I had been eyeing the Umidigi F1 for a couple weeks, and just saw today that they are running a $30 off discount for it today on Amazon. From my research, I am seeing that they are pretty similar phones as far as specs, but the F1 has much better batter and double the storage space. So now I am wondering if I should return the Moto G7 and switch to the F1 (and also pocket about $100). I just hate going through the return process for phones. So, I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has tried both phones and would be able to offer any insight into if it would be worth returning the G7 and going with the F1.
