Hi,

First you should check whether your phone can be paired with other BT devices but your car hands-free only or the bluetooth function is useless in all conditions. So, the first question is that if your phone is defective, or there's just a compatibility issue here. If your car device has a separate pairing mode (usually pressing the power button over the power on until a special sound and/or light signal), you should try that anyway.

As bencebacsi asked you, did you tried to connect your Iron with other bluetooth devices. Did that  worked successfully?

If works with other bluettoth devices then here could be compatibility problems. Could you try to do one test?. Remove from bluetooth system your uk phone and try to pair again. Is working?. If yes, please, remove from bluetooth system uk phone again and then try to pair UMI Iron. Is working?

thanks

Apologies, my mistake. I wasn't following the correct procedure.

Have paired it up and made a few calls.

Will test it out over the coming weeks, but I don't think there will be any problems.

Thanks for all your help.

Today I wanted to match my bluetooth UMI with company car, a Renault Laguna, and have not been recognized.
He had used the bluetooth at home with headphones and worked well, but did not see the car. I have also erased the previous connections to start from scratch, but not detected.
ROM version is 1.6

Are you following the correct phone pairing procedure for your car?

That was the problem in my case.

Try something:
Remove headphones or other devices that you have paired on Iron, this means, you need to have your Iron without any device paired on bluetooth.

After that, try to pair again your Iron with your bluetooth car system
