I can already say i will never buy UMI again. Worst firmware ever on a budget phone. Bad camera, glitches, buggy fingerprint unlock, WLAN connection gets lost, ... , no fixes in ages. Shame on UMI. Best way to get rid of future customers. Would have been a good phone spec ways...

Hi Denis this is because they make a marketing in order to sale the old product with new name(Apolo=IronPro)In fact they sale the same phone like Iron pro but with Android Marshmellow . everiting its made it for marketing. You can see that father the version 3.02 they not made any update with the bugfix imaging how long you need to waite for androit M.  Infact the camara is very bad and I made a comparison with  Samsung A5 the difference is very big and in my opinion the Samsung is win.( if you whan to take some phone with good uptades and bug fixes you need to look another phone like :letv Ulefone Elefone One+ . Ume is producing a good phone in comparison price but not have after sale support and they have one of the bed software ingeneers.

UMI Iron Pro will come with Lollipop 5.1.
Company will work to be able Marshmallow in Iron Pro if is possible, but now is totally focused in launching a stable 5.1 version

Without source code, will be a real pain in the a**  We will see a major update ONLY and IF Mediatek decide to give source directly to device OEMs, without public sharing to masses.... I have seen many devices left to die with old android version just because of this.

i think is processor dependency  , hopefully helio X devices will ship with android 6

I have buy  my iron pro also for this rumors. In december leak a notice that other phone with this socket will be supported.....
I hope Umi stay at work for this.

Hello guys. I want just to inform you that Ulefone and Elephone officials confirm that his software is stable and tthey update his phones with Marshmellow until the end of February. I'm sorry UMi but the sistem that you offer its not stable and sstill your engenders is not anunce any news about the Android 6 marshmellow. Also I see some concurend telephone and ulefone they realise a new smartphones with very good parameters I ting the Apolo its a baby toy in comparison of the other one listed up. In the conclusion , Please UMI fix your software because its full with bugs and please inform all of us( UMI clients) when you tink to release  Android 6  Marshmallow . Best Regards

The Iron Pro is the third phone I bought from Umi. First was a Hammer and second an eMAX mini for my son.
Regarding the hardware I was always satisfied for the money.
Anyway, if Umi will not improve their ROM support it is going to be the last one...
