Probably never by UMI. Please show me where they are or was advertising that. I mean CyanogenMod 12.1 written down.

No CyanogenMod 12.1 is written down, no description telling about that. Did you contacted UMI or your reseller to get informed about a CyanogenMod release before your purchase? Or you arrange your purchases by logos? That still can mean that, UMI Iron is compatible with CM releases, is able to run them, but the promotion doesn't promise a CM (especially not 12.1) ROM for that phone. Doesn't it suspicious if you can't see even the shortest description about something, just a logo? And that's still CM11, not CM12.1 what you demand here. So, I ask you to pick your words and try to enjoy the existing benefits of your phone. In the negotiated period you still can ask your reseller to redeem your phone.

UMI reported that, a CM12 development is not in progress and not planned to be released. I asked them to at least remove that CM11 logo from the adds.
I just tried to make you informed about this situation as that's possible, but wouldn't add my opinion to it.

I really like the phone. Just few more tweaks about camera and sound and thats enough for me.
