Screen replacement guide

Hello, I've already got a screen (comes in the frame so no need for actual screen removal needed). Is there a video or a guide of how to dismantle the phone? Got stuck straight away at the sound part with 2 wires soldered on. Do this need removed? Any successfully changed a screen before? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok so I've managed to replace the screen without having to solder etc, its actually fairly easy, just takes time and being careful.

1. Remove all the screws from both covers after removing the battery.
2. Peel back the black cover that has the serial no. Etc on it, this covers the sound ribbon traveling underneath to the main board. This whole piece needs to be removed as one (main board, sound ribbon, entire sound compartment with the 2 cables soldered on).

The rest is fairly simple, lift out of one frame, set into the next. Connect it all back up and go.

Watch out for the 4 metal connectors, 2 at top left and right, 2 down at the bottom left under the sound board, they're tiny. Also, there are two lengths of screw's, keep in mind where they go. The sound/power buttons are separate from the board they sit against, board with 3 buttons comes out first, followed by the actual buttons.

Obviously make sure you push the two ribbons in nice and tight then clamp them down. But basically everything lifts out of one frame and into the other.

I personally put the black cover back in and just set my battery on top of it, I'm not sure if it was to separate the sound ribbon from the battery, but didn't want to take the chance.

I purchased a screen with the frame included, so you would have to go a step further if it didn't come with a frame (although any I saw only came with the frame).

I can't hear callers through the ear piece, so I'm not sure if its a fault with the screen I purchased, or I damaged something, but everything else is working great, touch and the screen itself.
